Norma Sue Brown

Norma Sue Brown, 78, passed away Friday August 18, 2023.  She was born May 19, 1945 to the late Grover “Speedy” Brown and Norma Boyles Brown. Sue was a special sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed going on rides and visiting Boonville Home Furnishings. If you knew Sue you knew she loved to “Be in Charge!”.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law Nancy Brown. Surviving are her brother Frank Brown; niece Angie Brown Choplin (Daniel); nephew Chad Brown (Renee); great niece and nephews Ty Choplin, Ellie Choplin, Trip Brown, Ada Grace Brown, Willson Brown, Mona Claire Brown. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday August 20, 2023 at Boonville Cemetery by Rev. Susan Ewing. The family would like to thank the staff and medical professionals at Black Mountain Neuro medical treatment center for the love and care they provided for Sue. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Black Mountain Neuro Medical Treatment Center 932 Old US Hwy 70 Black Mountain, NC 28711. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Brown family.
