Ollie Mae Vestal Benton

Ollie Mae Vestal Benton, 88, passed away Friday June 21, 2024. She was born June 14, 1936 to the late Jonathan Hoyle Vestal and Conie (Tina) Weatherman Vestal. Mrs. Benton was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church where she was pianist for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Billy Ray Benton; brother Hildon Vestal. Surviving are her son Trent Benton; daughter Gayla Durham; grandchildren Paul (April) Benton, Luke (Eliza) Benton, Adam Durham, Branch Benton, Nickie Souther; several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM Sunday June 23, 2024 at Fall Creek Baptist Church. Her funeral will follow at 4:00 PM in the church by Rev. Don Hudson and Rev. Luke Benton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fall Creek Baptist Church 3345 Fall Creek Church Rd., Jonesville, NC 28642 or Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zephyr Rd.
