Pamela Willard Fulk

June 19th, 2026, Pamela Willard Fulk departed this earth for her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Lynn Willard, her mother, Louise Garrison Willard, and her father, Wade Worth Willard Sr.

Survivors include husband Alvin Reece Fulk; brother Wade W. Willard Jr. (Denise); special niece Felicia Bennett Riddle and her nephew Zane Riddle. Also, very dear to her heart were great-nieces Kaylyn Riddle, Emma Groce, Jenna Groce, and Anna Kate Groce; special sisters-in-law who were like sisters to her; and niece and nephew Shannon and Shawn Linville. Great-nephew Weston and wife Paige, whose calls could brighten any day. "A love for my great-nieces that I hope abides with them even though I'm gone!"

Pam enjoyed God's natural wonders, such as a full moon and a group of rocks arranged with magnificence. Only God could create flowers growing wild in nature in the colors of a prism of an evening sky.

Pam dedicated 30 years of her career to the telecommunications industry. She began her career with Western Electric, AT&T, and concluded it with BellSouth. Throughout those years, she built lasting friendships and connections with many coworkers. The friendships she formed became treasured relationships, and many of those friends became family in every sense of the word.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Trinidad and the entire staff at the Cancer Center for their compassionate care, support, and dedication throughout Pam's 51⁄2-year cancer journey. Their kindness and encouragement meant more than words can express, and Pam could not have made it through her treatments without them. Throughout her five-and-a-half-year battle with cancer, Pam's husband, Reece, was her constant companion, caregiver, and greatest supporter. He never missed a single treatment.

Pam was especially grateful for her nephew, Dr. Marty Bennett, whose guidance and wisdom were a constant source of comfort throughout her cancer journey. She often relied on him for advice, reassurance, and support during both the difficult and uncertain moments.

Pam had a deep love for all animals and a soft heart that could never turn away a stray in need. Whether it was a lost pet or a creature that simply needed kindness, she always made room in her heart to care for them. Animals brought her joy, comfort, and companionship throughout her life.

Among them, her beloved mini-Alaskan dachshund, Diesel, held a very special place in her heart. He was more than a pet—he was her loyal companion and a constant source of comfort during her battle with cancer. Diesel stayed close to her through both the good days and the difficult ones, offering quiet love, companionship, and a sense of peace that meant more than words can express.

Pam was a member of Huntsville Baptist Church. She especially enjoyed decorating the church with her beautiful floral arrangements and handmade wreaths. Her love for creating floral designs reflected her generous spirit and her desire to make God’s house welcoming and beautiful for others. She took great joy in using her gifts to serve her church family and to honor the Lord through her work.

Pam’s trust in the Lord carried her through her cancer battle with unwavering strength and peace. Even in moments of pain and uncertainty, she held firmly to her faith, believing that God was with her every step of the way. Her relationship with the Lord was a source of comfort, hope, and courage, and it never wavered throughout her journey. She often found peace in prayer and in the beauty of God’s creation around her, trusting that His plan was greater than her circumstances. Her faith was the foundation of her life and the strength behind her resilience.

The family will visit with friends on Thursday, June 25, at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 26, at Huntsville Baptist Church at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Pam's memory. Gentry Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Fulk family.
