Patricia Ann Hurlocker Bell

Patricia Ann Hurlocker Bell, 76, walked into the gates of Heaven on October 25, 2022. She was born August 16, 1946 in Cabarrus County to the late Floyd Hurlocker and Roxie Meadows.  Pat loved attending Freedom Gospel Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member. She loved to study her Bible and she greatly loved her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rev. Donald Ray Bell, Sr.; sisters Nila Gilliam, Shelia Mayhew; brother Johnny Hurlocker. Surviving are her children Donald (Autumn) Bell Jr., Scott (Bridgette) Bell, Christina (Mark) Nixon; grandchildren Kristen Nixon (Bradley Tate). Madison Nixon, Chloe Bell; soon to be great grandson Christopher Lee Tate; sister Della (Lonnie) Hughes; brothers Basil (Gidget) Meadows; Rick Meadows, Daniel Meadows. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Friday October 28, 2022 at Freedom Gospel Baptist Church in Rockford. Her funeral will follow the visitation at the church by Rev Randy Parrish. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Bell family.
