Paul Raymond Dobson

YADKINVILLE-  Mr. Paul Raymond Dobson, 77, of Harrison Avenue passed away peacefully Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center with his family by his side.  He was born April 19, 1944 in  Forsyth County to the late Vance and Irene Greene Dobson.  Mr. Dobson retired with 40 years of service with Sara Lee Corp and Hanes Hosiery.  He was also a faithful member of Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Mocksville.  Mr. Dobson loved his family and enjoyed spending time with each of his children and grandchildren.  He loved attending his family reunions and going on trips to the mountains.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mozella “Mo” Howell Dobson on February 24, 2009, by his sisters, Josephine Ingram, Norenda Hamilton; and his brother, Charlie Dobson.  Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Paula Dobson Waugh and husband, Danny of Evans, Ga; his son, Kevin Dobson and wife, Tameka of Augusta, Ga.; 7 grandchildren, Allison Meadows and husband, Jameson, Angelica Dobson, Derrick Dobson, Dominique Dobson, Daniel Waugh, Ricky Blue, Jayla Waugh; Great-Grandchildren, Dominque Dobson, Jr., Justice Dobson, Harper Meadows, Cadence Meadows, Johnathan Parks, Jr., his sister, Elsie Smith and husband, Johnny of Philadelphia, Pa.; his special friend and companion of 10 years, Mary Hylton;  and a host of family, cousins, nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 711 Cedar Creek Road, Mocksville, NC  27028.  His funeral service will follow the visitation at 2 PM Wednesday in the church with the Rev.
