Phillip Stephen Adams

Mr. Phillip Stephen Adams, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2022. Stephen was born in Surry County on July 18, 1952 to Joseph H. & Anna Haynes Adams. 

Stephen was an Eagle Scout and a 1971 graduate of Starmount High School.  He attended Marler Road Baptist Church faithfully.  He owned and operated a paint and body shop in Alabama before retiring. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Joseph H. & Anna Haynes Adams; daughter, Stephanie (Kirt) Samson of Kailua, HI; grandsons, Ryker Samson, Luke Samson; foster granddaughter, Ana.

A graveside service will be officiated by Rev. Randy Johnson at Crestwood Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marler Road Baptist Church, c/o Building Fund, 4433 Collins Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020.
