Phyllis Ann Alley Brooks

Phyllis Ann Alley Brooks, 87, passed away Tuesday September 16, 2025. She was born February 12,1938 in Ohio to the late John David Alley and Sally Hamilton Alley. Phyllis loved doing word search puzzles, Photography, photo Albums, and she loved animals. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bob Hoehn; son Barry Brooks. Surviving are her two daughters Cathy (Gary) Wade, Linda (Ron) Howard; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 AM Friday September 26, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM at the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Stephen Evans. Burial will follow at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff at Hugh Chatham Hospital for the loving care given to Mrs. Brooks. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Brooks family.
