Priscilla Crater Lang, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and devotion that will be cherished for generations to come.

Born on September 23, 1939, Priscilla was the daughter of George Lincoln Crater and Ruth Alva Hall. She dedicated her life to education and service, spending 26 years as a devoted high school history teacher. Through her passion for teaching, she inspired countless students to love learning and to appreciate the stories that shape our world.

Priscilla was a long-time member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Kernersville, NC where she found deep community and shared her faith through both words and actions. She lived with a generous heart, always ready to lend a hand or offer a warm smile.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Edward Arnold Lang; her daughter, Laurie Lang Stewart, and her husband Chad, along with their sons Christian Blake, Zackary James, and Jacob Edward; and her son, Justin Edward Lang, and his wife Lesley, along with their daughters Madeline Anneand Jenna Grace. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren, finding joy in every milestone and moment spent together.

Priscilla will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her dedication to her students, and her steadfast faith. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched through her teaching, her church, and her example of strength and grace.

A graveside service to celebrate Priscilla’s life will be held on Sunday, October 12 at 2:00pm at Harmony Grove Friends Cemetery in Yadkinville. Family and friends are invited to attend and share their memories. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, 306 S. Main St., Kernersville, NC 27284 or Trellis Supportive Care/Hospice, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.

Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Lang family.
