Rachel Dancy Handy

Yadkinville – Rachel Dancy Handy, 85, passed away Monday, February 10, 2026. She was born June 9, 1940 in Wilkes County.

In addition to her parents, Rachel was also preceded in death by her son, Bobby Clonch; brother, Lonnie Clanton.  She is survived by her daughter, Rosa Lowe; grandchildren, Angela (Robert) Dalton, Audra (Chuck) Cline, Tina Porter, Jennifer Clonch, Felicia (James) Stavrakas, Shelby Clonch; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; sister, Edna Cleary; brother, Ed Dancy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to Liberty Home Care and Hospice, 336 N. South Street, Mt. Airy, NC 27030. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Handy family.
