Randy Norman Lowder

Mr. Randy Norman Lowder, 62, passed away Friday, October 30, 2026. He was born October 9, 1964 in Broward County Florida to the late Edgar Reid Lowder and Norma Jean Minick Lowder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ricky Lowder. Mr. Lowder was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesville. Randy was a proud graduate of Starmount High School and NC State University. A proud achievement from Starmount, Randy was “Mr. Ram” athlete of the year in 1983. Randy loved sports and was always proud of the Starmount Rams and his Wolfpack. He was an avid Beatles fan, and World War II history enthusiast. Randy was a gentle giant whose kindness affected all those who knew him. To know him was to love him. He is survived by his wife, Emily Martin Lowder; step-children, Ben (Hadly) Osborne, Chloe Osborne; grandchild, the light of his life Greyson Osborne; his brother, Rodney (Bethany) Lowder; nieces and nephews, Derrick (Kristine) Lowder, Miranda Lowder, Diana (Josh) Best, Gabriel (Lauren) Lowder; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, November 4, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Jonesville. A celebration of life will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM with Rev. Roger Hensley officiating. Memorials may be made to Leukemia Research Foundation https://leukemiarf.org/.
