Randy Dale Parks

Mr. Randy Dale Parks, 64, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. He was born in Yadkin County on May 24, 1958 to Jack Parks and Miranda Holcomb Triplett. Randy worked at Weyerhauser for 36 years. During his time there he gained another special family and always thoroughly enjoyed working. He enjoyed many things such as going outdoors, woodworking, antique furniture, gardening, working in the yard, hunting and fishing. Randy loved life and had the best personality. Everyone who had the special privilege to know him will miss him very much. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Arnold and his beloved dog, Scooter. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Parks; children, Jeremie Dale Parks and Whitney (Scott) Teague; grandchildren, Morgan (Josh) Jackson, Jarren Parks, Nathaniel Parks, Veronica Gonzalez, Easton Teague, and Gage Teague; sister, Bridgette Ford; brother, Ricky Parks; step-father, Leon Triplett; step-siblings, Sherry Holbrook, Terry Triplett, Stevie Triplett, and Rita Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Boonville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Cancer Center, Medical Center Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27157, or Mountain Valley Hospice, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017. The family would like to say a special thank you to Randall and Cathy Weatherman and family, and their Weyerhauser family for all of the kindness and love shown to him and his family during these difficult times.
