Robert "Bob" Earl Kaufman

Mr. Robert “Bob” Kaufman, 87, passed into his eternal home, surrounded by his wife and children on March 19, 2024 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center after a brief illness. Bob was born in Mead, WV on February 6, 1937 to the late Pete and Mary Coffman. He served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1959. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law Rev. Linden and Lillie Mae Lusk, brothers Everette Coffman, Dink Coffman, Burl Coffman, and David Coffman; sister, Claire Mae Patrick; niece, Jennifer Coffman, and several brother-in-law’s and one sister-in-law. Those left to cherish his memory and carry on his love for Jesus and life are his wife of 65 years, Martha Naomi Kaufman, their children, Linda (Randy) Ingram, Robert (Tina) Kaufman, Sherrie (Ronnie) Bates; grandchildren, Chris (Sarah) Ingram, Cody (Brianna) Collins, Amie (Harley) Cardwell, Hannah Kaufman, Joshua Kaufman; great-grandchildren, Lucas Ingram, Victoria Collins, Jacob, Linden, and Kolten Cardwell; sisters, Shirlene (Melvin) Bishop, Diane (Morris) Bishop; several nieces, nephews, and close friends. The family will receive friends, 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Cornerstone Family Ministries, 3132 Cornerstone Way, Yadkinville, NC 27055. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM at the church with Rev. Lenuel Lusk, Rev. Dale Lusk, Rev. Lacy Lusk, and Rev. Tony Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Kaufman family.
