Roger Nathan James Lilly

Roger Nathan James Lilly, 54, of East Bend, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Roger was the son of Ginette Constance Gervais Lilly and the late Robert Earl Lilly.

Roger was an avid Denver Broncos and West Virginia Mountaineers fan. He enjoyed talking about the many theories of bigfoot. Those who knew Roger would have also known his companion and friend, Rusty. Roger had a big heart and smile and loved his family dearly. 

In addition to his father, Robert Earl Lilly, Roger was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Aaron. Roger is survived by his mother, Ginette Constance Gervais Lilly, siblings, Sherry C. Aaron, Roy B. Lilly (Elsa) and Robert E. Lilly (Lela Cross), nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Robbie, Curtis, Tiffany and Joey, great nieces, Adeline and London and numerous extended family members.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

God saw you get tired,

And a cure was not to be;

So he put his arms around you,

And whispered, “Come to me”.

With tearful eyes we watched you,

And saw you pass away;

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best. Rest in Peace.
