Roger William Parrish

Yadkinville – Roger William Parrish, 85, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026. He was born April 25, 1941 in Davie County to the late Robert William Parrish and Elsie Moorefield. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Billy Ray Parrish. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Pearson Talley; children, Debbie (Mike) Idol, Denise (Kip) Miller, Dale (Terra) Parrish; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters; Katherine (Donald) Hersey and Wanda Parrish. His funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Joel Riley. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honor by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Memorial can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 516 Hawthorne Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice for all their love and care shown to Roger.
