Roger William "Billy" Sprinkle, II

Mr. Roger William “Billy” Sprinkle, II, 71, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. He was born in Surry County on September 23, 1953 to Roger William Sprinkle, I and Moie “Brownie” Brown Sprinkle Billings. Billy was a member of Hunting Creek Friends Meeting, where he served as an elder for many years. He owned and operated his family’s business, Sprinkle Tire Company Inc., and he later was a sales manager for American General Insurance. Billy was a faithful member of the Elkin Masonic Lodge up until his death, where he was a past master in 1985. Additionally, he was a member of the Oasis Shrine in the Elkin/Jonesville Shrine Club. He was a former Scoutmaster of Troop #699. Billy will be missed by all those who loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Jo Windsor Sprinkle.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Hunting Creek Friends Meeting with Pastor Don Hudson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hunting Creek Friends Meeting, c/o Mary Lou Smith, 4440 Hunting Creek Church Rd, Hamptonville, NC 27020. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Sprinkle family.
