Ronald Dean Parish

Ronald Dean Parish, 72 years of age, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. He left behind a wife of 38 years, Donna Boyd Parish; son, Jesse Myers (Justin); sister, Ann Allen (Pinky); brother, Bentley Parish; special uncle and fishing buddy, Wayne Parish (Willis) and sister-in-law, Brenda Shore.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother and father, Martha and Elmer Parish; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Jesse Boyd; brother-in-law, Larry Shore and many others.

Ron loved the Lord and was a devoted worker in his church, Old Time Baptist Church. He was a very selfless person willing to help anyone. He graduated high school and worked at Hanes Hosiery for almost 40 years and at Baptist Hospital for about 10 years. He loved to talk about the Lord and go fishing; he was a member of the Fishers of Men Bass Club for several years. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, brother-in-law and friend. He will be greatly missed.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday, September 13, at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 14, at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tommy Holder and Pastor LC Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery.
