Rosemary Taylor Miller, 93, passed away Friday morning, August 28, 2026, at her home in Yadkinville. Mrs. Miller was born in Enon on July 14, 1933, as one of five siblings, grew up on a farm and graduated from Yadkinville High School in 1951. She married Larry Gray Miller from Yadkinville in 1952 and was a devoted wife until his death in 2016. She was a member of Enon Baptist church as a child before following her husband throughout 20 years of service in the Army including assignments in eight different states and three years in Germany. She moved back to Yadkin County during his other years abroad where he served in Iran and twice to Vietnam. After Larry retired from the military, they lived in Yadkinville and Dobson and finally returned to Yadkinville. After being a member of Dobson 1st Baptist and Yadkinville 1st Baptist she returned her membership to Enon Baptist as a faithful member. Throughout her many travels she has always been actively involved in the church and her faith in our Lord Jesus governed her marriage and life. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and faithful friend to many.

In addition to her parents, Hiram Alison Taylor and Treva Norina Matthews Taylor, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Gray Miller Sr.; two brothers, Bill Taylor and Rich Taylor; two sisters, Betty Ann Taylor Killian and Peggy Taylor Welborn; and her granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Robertson.

She is survived by her three children, Dara (Jim) Stockton, Larry (Donna) Miller, Jr., Danny (Cindy) Miller; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (Travis) Lamonda, Jonathan Jones, Samuel (Kayla) Jones, Doug (Trista) Schimmeck, Josh (Noel) Miller, Ryan Miller (Madeline), Nathan Miller, Justin (Lindsay) Miller, Jessica (Jacob) Stowe; ten great grandchildren, Dillon (Yamilha), Noah, Adaira and Jaxon Langley, Westley Ellerbee, Lorelei Schimmeck, Kylie and Ava Miller, Macie and Baby Callie Stowe (due in October); and two great-great grandchildren, Circe-Rue Langley and Taylor Langley.

A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Enon Baptist Church with Pastor Ben Webb officiating with a visitation at 10:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Enon Baptist Church, 6321 Old Highway 421, East Bend, NC 27018.
