Rosie Lee Gregory Souther

Mrs. Rosie Lee Gregory Souther, 76, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, December 13, 2025. She was born September 25, 1949 in Iredell County to the late Manuel Commie Gregory and Nellie Sue Mastin Gregory. Mrs. Souther enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, and reading. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Rev. Joe Souther; her daughters, Cynthia (Allen) Shore, Cheryl (Will) Myers; granddaughters, Savannah (Nick) Arsenault, Emalyn Myers, Beth Myers; her brothers, Toy (Barbara) Gregory, Jerry (Sandy) Gregory; special cousin who was like a sister, Mattie (Jackie) Gregory; sister-in-law, Jane (Roger Oliver) Moxley, Marie (Phil) Lucas; four nieces and two nephews. The family will receive friends, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2025 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Benham Baptist Church, 8697 Greenhorn Rd, Elkin, NC 28621 with Rev. Joe Souther officiating. She will lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to give a very special thank you to, Hospice of Iredell County staff members, Jodie Belcher, Sarah Tesar and Crystal Brown; and Rosie Lee’s private care givers, Brittany Vanhoy and Debbie Garris for the exceptional loving care shown to Mrs. Souther and her family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Iredell County or Benham Baptist Church. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Souther Family.
