Roy "Mac" McArthur Chandler

Roy McArthur “Mac” Chandler, 79, passed away Monday January 16, 2023. He was born September 16, 1943 in Yadkin County to the late Gurney Esker Chandler and Esther Hawks Chandler. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons Richard Chandler, Scottie Chandler; two infant daughters; several sisters and brothers. Surviving are a daughter Teresa (Michael) Willard; grandchildren Justin (Lauren) Willard, Ryan (Stacey) Willard, Sara Chandler; great grandchildren Jacob Willard, Josiah Willard, Abram Willard; brother Luther Chandler; mother of his children Barbara Chandler. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 Am Thursday January 19, 2023 at MT. Nebo Church of Christ Cemetery by Brother Lawrence Warden. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care given to Mr. Chandler.
