Sandra Kay Shore

Mocksville Ms. Sandra Kay Shore, 67, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Somerset Court of Mocksville. Ms. Shore was born April 17, 1954 in Yadkin County to the late Gorrell and Irene Speaks Shore. She worked for Hanes Brands for 20 years at the Yadkinville and Winston-Salem locations. Sandra was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was strong in her Christian faith and regularly attended church while she was able. She enjoyed picnics on the mountain and taking walks with friends and family. Sandra was always smiling, loved music and a good Lifetime movie. She had a servant’s heart and was always helping others. She is survived by her children, Katrica Driver (Modesto), April Sharpe (Tony) Reid, Tasha (Matthew) Jones, and AJ (Courtney) Driver; grandchildren, Dustin Caudle, Kristen (Terry) Hall, Josh Caudle, Drew Sharpe (Mya), Dekota Sharpe, Alexis (Alex) Dockery, Olivia Jones, and Ethan & Mason Driver; great grandchildren, Jaxson, Skylar, Kyra, Addison, Braiden, Bryson, Olivia, Ellie, and Roman; a sister, Kathy Shore; and a brother, John Shore. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday, March 14, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Tim Webb and Pastor Ryan Showalter officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) or Wellcare Hospice of Bermuda Run. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Somerset Court of Mocksville and Hospice Well Care for the loving care given to Ms. Shore.
