Sgt. Jerry Eldridge Brown

Sgt. Jerry Eldridge Brown, 84, of Hickory died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation. Jerry was born October 7, 1937 to the late Reed E. Brown and Maude W. Brown. Jerry was the last surviving member of his family. Having retired from Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Brown was well known for his service to Catawba County citizens through Community Watch and Crime Prevention programs. An avid Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons fan. Jerry will be lovingly missed by his friends. A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
