Shirley Marie Holbrook

Shirley Marie Colvard Holbrook, age 85, passed away on November 9, 2021. Shirley was born on May 1, 1936 to the late Ralph & Jessie Vestal Colvard.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby & Larry Colvard; sister, Yvonne Johnson; brother-in-law, Roger Childress; and daughter-in-law, Tonna Holbrook.   

Shirley was a great cook and a wonderful homemaker.  She loved conversation and enjoyed sharing stories of days gone by.  She loved spending time with family and visiting together under the shade tree.  She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and was an avid racing fan and loved all sports.      

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jimmy Holbrook, Sherry (Dathan) Call, Michael (Deborah) Holbrook; grandchildren, Brock Holbrook, Crystal Poplin, Tiffany Stanley, Jessica Harris, Josh Harris, Chris Holbrook, Drew & Brittany Holbrook; great-grandchildren, William Stanley, Gabriel Stanley, Ethan Holbrook, Tori Holbrook, Saida Groce, Caible Groce; sisters, Barbara Childress, Sarah (Varner) Stinson; brother-in-law, Roger Johnson.
