Sue Iris Hardy Hutchens

Sue Iris Hardy Hutchens, 87, passed away Sunday July 31, 2022. She was born September 23, 1934 in Surry County to the late Floyd Julius Hardy and Bessie Wall Hardy. Mrs. Hutchens was a member of Northwood Baptist church, and she enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Worth Hutchens; grandson Hank Casstevens; sisters Bonnie Holt, Kate Davis; brothers JC Hardy, and Ricky Hardy. Surviving are her children Amy Milholand (Rockey) Hauser, Doris Casstevens, Connie Hutchens, Gerald Hutchens; grandchildren Ryan (Haley) Milholand, Alesha Milholand, Iris White, Kelly Davis; great grandchildren   Rose White, Abby Davis, Travis Casstevens; great great grandchild Brayden Hall; sister Linda Zachary. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Wednesday August 3, 2022 at Northwood Baptist Church. Her funeral will be held 2:00 PM following the visitation at the church by Rev. Tim Webb. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Hutchens family.
