Thomas Gerald Dalton, Sr.

Thomas Gerald Dalton Sr. passed away on the 7th of November, 2026 at the age of 62. He was born to the late Daniel and Lula Dalton on July 8th, 1964. Thomas had many enjoyments in life. He loved traveling with his motorcycle club to many different places, his favorite place being Maggie Valley in the mountains. Thomas was also a talented bass guitar player and loved making music. He had a servant’s heart and showed this by the years he spent serving the community on the fire department. After working many years as a fireman, he took up long-distance truck driving and spent his time exploring the country. Above all else, Thomas enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. He was loved deeply and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel Dalton Jr, Billy Dalton, Jesse Dalton, David Dalton, Tony Dalton; sister, Pam and Debbie.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas Dalton Jr, Edward Dalton; grandchildren, Randi Dalton, Gunner Dalton, Emmet Dalton, Qinzal Mosser, Steven Dalton; sisters, Addie (Rex) Clyde, Carolyn Houser; brother, Jospeh Dalton; and close friend, Joan Pratt.

Out of respect for Thomas’s final wishes, no official service will be held. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville will be serving the Dalton Family
