Thomas Roy Sheek

Thomas “Roy” Sheek, 92, went home to be with his Lord and savior on Thursday, July 20, 2023. He was born January 10, 1931 in Yadkin County to the late Nelson Sheek and Collie Speer Sheek. Roy was a member of Northwood Baptist Church and a member of the Gideons. Mr. Sheek was a land surveyor for several years.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Colene Brown Sheek; brother Glenn Sheek. Surviving are his son Steven (Joyce) Sheek; grandchildren Derrick (Jennifer) Sheek, Jason (Jordan) Sheek, great grandson Cole Sheek; step great grandchildren Kaylee, Ellie. His funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday July 23, 2023 at Northwood Baptist Church by Rev. Tim Webb and Rev. Jonah Vittoe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mr. Sheek.
