Virgil Wayne Long

Virgil Wayne Long, 70, passed away Sunday December 6, 2020. He was born November 30, 1950 in Yadkin County to the late Virgil Marvin Long and Zadie Mae Livengood Long. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Christopher Long; half brother Carl Long; two brother in laws Bobby Groce and Seavon Bell. Surviving are his son Lonnie Long; sisters Marie Long Groce, Elaine Long Bell, Janet Long (Adam) Failla; brother Larry (Wilma) Long. Mr. Long will be available for public viewing from 8:00 – 4:30 on Friday December 11, 2020 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Mr. Long will have a graveside service 2:00 PM on Saturday December 12, 2020 at Longtown Cemetery by the Rev. J.P. Sizemore.
