Yadkinville-  Vivian L. Long, 78, of Longtown Road passed away peacefully Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkin.  She was born June 4, 1939 in Yadkin County to the late J.M. “Buck” and Clyde Long Long.  Ms Long retired from Western Electric, Inc. and Yadkin County School Systems.  She was a faithful member of Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church as long as her health permitted.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Long.  Surviving are her niece, nephew, several cousins, and special friends, Betty Tucker and Shelby Bauguess.  The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Sunday at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Her funeral service will follow the visitation at the church with Rev.
