Vivian Leigh Royall

Hamptonville – Mrs. Vivian Leigh Royall, 80, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026 peacefully at home. Vivian was born August 24, 1946 in Surry County to the late Lake and Madonna Messick Pardue.

She was married to her devoted husband, Hubert “Bud” Royall for 60 years. She was also a talented hairdresser for many years in the community and was known for her love of clothing and matching accessories. She attended Maranatha Baptist Church and loved her church family. Vivian was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She would show up for any occasion for them when she was able, and talk about them any chance she had.

In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Gray Royall; grandson, Colson Gage Royall; sisters, Trudy Pardue, Linda Ford; brothers, Jerry Pardue and Shannon Pardue.

In addition to her husband, Hubert “Bud” Gray Royall, she was also survived by her children, Mark (Amy) Royall, Cary (Tim) Disher; sisters, Marian West, Evelyn Jones; brother, Terry (Sandra) Pardue; grandchildren, Tanner Royall, Parker (Lexi) Royall, Reece Matthews, Sadie Disher, Hank Disher, Channing (Mallory) Royall, Brianna (Landen) Gallimore, Isabella Royall; great grandchildren, Cannon Smith, Vaeda Gallimore, Ryatt Gallimore, Colson Royall, Ragan Royall; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Her funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville. Burial will follow at Center Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
