Wade Vernon Swaim

Wade Swaim, 79 of Yadkinville, passed away at his home on June 29, 2025. Wade was an avid outdoorsman and loved all things hunting and fishing and never met a stranger.

Wade was born December 21, 1945 to Vern and Marie Swaim.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jane Swaim, his parents, and siblings Dottie Hall, Vicki Howard, and Tommy Swaim. He leaves behind four daughters, Sherry (David) McGuire, Crystal (Paul) Spicer, Lori Swaim, Jaimi Swaim, one brother, Raymond (Daphne) Swaim, three grandchildren Matthew (Bailey) McGuire, Alli Spicer, and Quinn Spicer as well as a host of very special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We are forever grateful for the support of all of his friends and family and their many visits and meals. We would also like to express gratitude to Mountain Valley Hospice and their great care for him over the last six months.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2 at 2:00pm by the Rev. Mark Brown at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville, NC.
