State Road – William Franklin Day, 80, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026. He was born April 20, 1946 in Wilkes County to the late Shirley Day and Nonnie Blevins Day.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Day, James Day, and Tom Day. He is survived by his sisters, Martha Day, Louise Gregory; niece, Judy; nephews, Raymond, Dale, Jamie, and Darrell.
His funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 11, 2026 at Wilkes Faith Church by the Rev. Bobby Jenkins and the Rev. Eric Jones. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday at Wilkes Faith Church.
