William "Dwight" Palmer

Boonville - Mr. William “Dwight” Palmer, 79, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. He was born on March 14, 1946 in Iredell County to the late William Eugene Palmer and Martha Hunter Palmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life partner, Gloria Moore; and his brother, James Palmer. Dwight is survived by his sons, Jimmy (Kathy) Palmer, Timmy Palmer, and Billy (Christy) Palmer; step-son, Kenny Flynn; step-daughter, Lori Kane; brother, Jerry Palmer, sister, Linda Lopez; grandchildren, Jimmy Wayne Palmer, Kristin McAlister, Madison Moore, Tosha Palmer, Maria Palmer, T.J. Palmer, Ashley Palmer, Cameron Palmer, Arielle Eure, Kyndal Rush, Bella Flynn, and Reece Flynn; great grandchildren, Veronica, Bella, Sammy Jo, Kaylee, Mason, Kayah, Collin, A.J., Presley, Danielle, Nolan, Vivian, Lex’ee, Lacee, Emma, Suzanna, and Mavrik.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Palmer family.
