Jimmy Ray Gaultney

Jimmy Ray Gaultney passed away on the 4th of September, 2025. He was born to the late Claude and Marie Gaultney on the 23rd of December, 1951. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and riding 4-wheelers in the mountains. Jimmy also loved spending time with his many close friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy and Ronnie Gaultney; and his sister-in-law Nancy. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Gaultney; sons, Jimmy (Carol) Ray Gaultney Jr. and Allen (Jackie) Gaultney; stepson, Tommy Brown; stepdaughter, Teresa McCellan; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Gaultney; sisters, Claudette Miller and Darlene Maybe; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Liberty Hospice for their caring support. They would also like to extend a special thank you to Jimmy’s many close friends. The staff of Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Gaultney family.
